Tick tock, tick tock
A moment has passed
Tick tock, tick tock
And another
In the blink of an eye a day, a week, a year has passed us by and what do we have to look back on?
Memories
A year full of weddings, of joy, of laughter, of tears (happy ones!) of fun and of course lots and lots of wonderful memories
So, how to summarize a year, an amazing year of weddings as varied as can be from the formality of a ceremony alongside the tomb of King John at Worcester Cathedral to a wedding reception at the Sunshine music festival. From the hall on The Wirral where Ringo Starr played his first gig with The Beatles to a woodland blessing and tip reception in Warwickshire or from a 17th Century stone barn near Hereford to the ultra modern Birmingham Library
Eclectic is the word that springs to mind, but having sat and looked through each wedding I'm struck that they all have something in common, something that connects them all
EMOTION....Raw. Human, Emotion,
That thing which makes us all what we are
It's what weddings are all about, as you stand together in front of your family and friends to affirm your love for one another, emotion shows itself.
So now choosing the images for a review of the year became curating a collection of emotions. You might not know where the images were taken or who is shown but what I hope you will be able to tell is the emotion that is captured
