Arrival of the Bride- My favourite Wedding images

It's traditional at a wedding for the bride to be walked down the aisle by her Father. There are lots of reasons why this might not be the case and I've done weddings where it's be her Mother, her Brother or her Uncle alongside her as she makes her entrance

At this wedding at Fazeley Studios in Digbeth in Birmingham it was a bit different

Jenny & Matt have two children who of course are incredibly important to them. So when they were planning their wedding they were really keen that their kids would play a big part in the day

Whereas it's often the Bestman handing over the rings during the ceremony it was Jen & Matt Junior who took that responsibility and it was also them that walked their Mum down the aisle

As you can see, this shot is as they're making their entrance. Jenny both happy and emotional, big beaming smile on her face but also tears in her eyes.

As everyone looked on I think their young children were both excited but shy, holding Mum's hands tightly as they approached their Dad, dressed in the same style suit as his little boy

For me, it's the look on Jenny's face and the sense of family that makes this such a favourite. Joy and emotion captured in one shot

If you'd like to see more from their wedding then have a look at this gallery of images from their Fazeley Studios Wedding.

It was such a fab day full of fun, frivolity and gingerbread men icing competitions!!
