Piggy back rides, Bride & Groom star jumps at the Custard Factory and an 'ice the gingerbread man' competition, just your normal everyday wedding at Fazeley Studios in Digbeth in Birmingham!
Something to mention straight away is that Jenny & Matt weren't going to have a wedding photographer
With two children and busy lives, planning their wedding had to fit in alongside everything else.
The most important thing for them about the wedding was getting married (obvs!) and initially, booking a photographer just didn't feature.
But some of their married friends persuaded them to rethink by telling them how important it is to have photographs to look back on. At this point I'd just like to say what wise and sage friends Jenny & Matt have!!!
Their wedding was in Digbeth in Birmingham, at the fabulous Fazeley Studios. a converted 19th century chapel that's just oozing in character. That whole part of Birmingham is a wonderfully eclectic mix of warehouses, industrial units and some really hip venues and businesses.
After Bridal prep at the Malmaison at The Mailbox it was over to Digbeth for the wedding and a very emotional entrance for Jenny, walking down the aisle hand in hand with their two children. I loved the fact that their son was a mini-me for the day of his Dad, it just added even more charm to proceedings
I was standing, You were there.
Two worlds collided, And they could never ever tear us apart
Following the ceremony we had epic confetti canons in the courtyard, a piggyback ride for the Bride from the Groom and a wander around the Custard Factory complete with star jumps from the newlyweds. Then back to Fazeley for food, gingerbread men icing, a Mr & Mrs competition and lots of dancing
Just one word for it - AMAZING!!
