Waiting for the Bride - My favourite Wedding images

Here is an image from an autumn wedding at the Mytton & Mermaid. It's a lovely country hotel & restaurant right next to the River Severn at the entrance to Attingham Park in Shropshire

Pauline & Tom are perhaps more mature than many couples who get married and both had grown up children and grandchildren. They wanted to get everyone involved in their day and consequently there were a lot of page boys, bridesmaids and flower girls

Bridal preparation was in a lovely cottage next to the hotel and it was packed with most of the female members of the wedding party getting ready.

As the clock ticked and it got closer to the time of the wedding everyone started to assemble outside the cottage with the wedding coordinator organising the younger members of the party.

Of course, Brides prerogative, she was the last one to arrive and as we were all waiting in the courtyard I saw this in front of me

I like it because to me it just says 'Wedding'.

Cute little flower-girls, standing hand in hand, excited to part of something so special.

They know that there is one important person that isn't there, the Bride! I don't know what it was that made them all turn around at the same time but when I see something like that, I just have to photograph it!!
