A wedding is normally a very public affair, or at least it takes place in front of your family and friends
However, for much of the ceremony your guests are behind you and although they hear everything that is going on they don't get to see your expressions.
This is where I feel privileged as I am normally at the front, privy to exactly how you react. Whether it's tears or laughter I'm lucky that I get to see it all
This is from the wedding of Jenny & Nick at St Michael & All Angels in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.
It's quite a big Church with plenty of room for me to stand out of the way behind the Vicar so as to not distract anyone, but still be able to photograph the wedding ceremony.
After the vows Jenny & Nick were asked to take a seat whilst the Vicar gave a short sermon. After being the centre of attention for the entire ceremony up to this point I'm sure it's quite nice to be able to have a moment to yourselves as your guests listen to the Vicar
This is when I saw this shot, a lovely moment where Jenny is looking across at her new husband, total love in her eyes.
It's this sort of image which I hope my couples will treasure. Ones that remind them of exactly how they were feeling when they look at them, that take them right back to their wedding day
