Kirsti & Jamie

There are two things about Kirsti & Jamie's wedding that will forever stick in my memory, epic confetti and epic speeches!!

My day started at The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall where Kirsti was getting ready with lots of birdesmaids and flower-girls. Kirsti is a hairdresser so she actually spent quite a lot of the morning doing hair for other people which kept her busy! She was a very relaxed Bride which was just as well as her hire car was late and she ended up going to the Church in the vintage VW Camper van that they'd borrowed from some friends for the bridesmaids!

The Church service at St Michael & All Angels had music from a gospel band and one very emotional Groom!

After the ceremony, with 150 guests lined up for the 'confetti walk' we had the usual little boxes of petals to throw but also some confetti canons.....oh my word! Walking backwards down the line as Kirsti & Jamie came towards me I've never seen anything like it as confetti rained down on them!!

Then it was on to the stunning Lilleshall Hall for the reception. It's a fab venue with beautiful grounds around an old country house, perfect for their drinks reception.

After the wedding breakfast, as is quite common, came the speeches. We had the Groom, Father of the Bride and Best Man, but after that it was an open mic! I lost count of how many speeches there were but they were at time emotional, often funny and had all the guests enraptured. Definitely epic!

The emotion continued with Kirsti's Dad performing 'I Loved Her First' with hardly a dry eye in the house followed by their first dance. A Sam Smith track that began nice and slow with the newlyweds alone on the dance-floor. But then it went up a gear, the tempo increased and all their family and friends jumped onto the dance-floor, literally!
