Wedding Photography
My approach & style
Unposed | Candid | Natural
My aim is to capture all the emotion of your day in an unposed, storytelling style.
No cheesy poses, no cliches, no recreating past photos or ordering you around, just your day, your story, told through beautiful natural images.
UNPOSED
There are lots of words to describe styles of wedding photography like documentary, photo-journalistic, reportage and many more.
I think one of simplest ways to explain my style is to say that 95% of the images I take during a wedding are unposed or candid, they're all about capturing the moment (cliche alert!!) We can still do some group shots of course but these are best kept to a minimum so I can get back to those candid shots!
TIMELESS
When it comes to editing your images there are no gimicky effects and I don't 'Photoshop' things out of the picture,
in fact I rarely use Photoshop at all!
My editing style is subtle as I want you to love the images as much in 20, 30, 40 years time as the first time that you see them
A Little Information
EMOTION
Of course I KNOW the Bride is going to be getting ready, I KNOW the Groom is going to be waiting for the Bride to arrive, I KNOW there is going to be a first kiss and so on during the day. But the challenge for me is to capture all that (and lots more) in a way that will really bring back the emotion of the day when you look at the images.
If the first viewing of your images brings tears (happy ones!) then I consider that job done :)
